Hello Tiffany and Family. It's night time here and I'm just now finishing watching this video. My bunch doesn't like soup of any kind. The closest thing that I can get them to eat is Chicken and Dumplings. They are the exact same way as Gerry. It's not a meal. I think it looks Delicious. I absolutely love your animal print shirt Tiffany. It looks so comfy too. We love pot pies to. Thank you for sharing. Much Love From your longtime Indiana Friend.

My husband doesn’t think soup is a meal either. He says it’s a snack. It’s something to eat before you eat your real meal. Gerry is the only other person I’ve heard of that says the same thing about soup. I however could eat soup every day! I LOVE it! I think it’s a complete meal!🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought your meals looked delicious! We love pot pies too!😊

I make an Italian Chicken Tortellini Soup that is very good. Your crew would probably like it.
    ITALIAN CHICKEN TORTELLINI SOUP
    3 chicken breast, shredded
    1 chopped onion
    3 ribs of celery, chopped
    3 to 4 carrots
    8 oz tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
    1 Tbsp Parsley Flakes
2 to 3 cloves minced garlic
    2 qts chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Cook the chicken and all this together until the chicken is done and vegetables are cooked.
    Cheese Tortellini
I cook it separately and store all rice and pasta separately. I find it swells in leftover soup so I add it to the bowl when serving. That way every bowl of soup taste freshly made. For us I cook a box of the dried cheese tortellini but you can add as much as you want. I have also used fresh Tortellini and even frozen cheese Ravoli when I have not had tortellini on hand. The Cheesy pasta adds so much flavor to this soup.
Right before serving I often add a bag of fresh spinach if I just want some extra vegetables. The soup is delicious without it though if your family are not spinach fans. I shred the chicken and add it back in once cooked.
I serve the soup with grated Parmesan and garlic breadsticks. If I am wanting a creamy soup I have also added some half and half or heavy cream too. We like it either way. I like to fix a pot of this to eat over several days for lunch in cooler weather. My husband is not a huge chicken fan but will eat this soup. I have also made this soup and added a few links of Italian sausage to the chicken for extra flavor. Gerry would probably like this soup too if you added both the sausage and chicken and the cream to this one too. The addition of only 1 small can of tomato sauce does not make it a true tomato soup. It just adds a little extra flavor. Thanks for suggesting the turkey pot pie. I froze almost 1/2 a turkey and half a ham. I make a Hot Brown Casserole that I use both in that has a cheese sauce and gets topped with bacon but the pot pie sounds so good.
