Oh no no? You are supposed to eat corn beef with cabbage, carrots and potatoes. Classic boiled dinner for St Patty's day. My favorite dinner. When I was a child my parents went to Detroit to Eastern Market to get our brisket. Just a suggestion, enjoy your dinner.

As for as I can see all of the children do a lot to help out. Anna is quite a bit younger and seems to do her share of the inside work, while Abigail keeps Rebecca entertained and busy. Iโ€™m thinking the boys do more outside and we donโ€™t see as much of their work as we do the girls, but Iโ€™m sure they put in as much time as the girls. Itโ€™s great to have everyone working together and making things work outโ€ฆalways on to the next best thing๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’•

Sarah you are an incredible help in the kitchen! Your mother is lucky to have you!! Those biscuits looked AWESOME!! I bet they were delicious! I sometimes add some shredded cheddar and finely shredded parmesan cheese to my dry flour ingredients and mix it in and the add my lumpy milk(I add 2 tsps of lemon juice or vinegar to it to turn it into buttermilk but I imagine you have a lot leftover after making your butter)and butter it turns them into delicious cheddar Parmesan biscuits! Also a trick I used after rolling out my dough is to fold it by a third and then fold the other side in and then just roll it this helps make flaky layers and I use a glass jar or glass to cut out the biscuits and I dredge the edge of the jar in flour first and then when pressing into the biscuits I turn it back and forth that ensures a beautiful edge on all your biscuits and makes a natural separation between the top and bottom layers to be able to pull them apart once completely cooled.) that was a tip I learned from my mother. She has passed on now but I always remember her when Iโ€™m baking in the kitchen she was an incredible baker and put a lot of love into her food just like you do!๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
