Everything looks delicious! You are looking pretty healthy and fit! WD! I come from a very large Italian family and luckily I picked up a few things or two in the kitchen. It has been a curse and a blessing all in one! We love that pasta, but since I have been doing keto I am just turned off by the pasta and I always just think…is it worth it when I could have more veg and fruit instead. I made beef stew for the fam today and instead of using flour or corn starch to thick the gravy, I used xanthan gum and they never knew the difference. Score! Love your tattoo and what a great gesture to remember your Auntie.

You look great! I am trying several collagens too. Sports Research (SR) has some capsules that work great. They also have several new powders too that I am trying.

Fiber has never been good for me. It gives me gas abs seems to have nothing positive to add to my body. I suppose that's why it's all waste.

A balanced electrolyte blend is what does it for me. I do have a few that I take, but I compare them all to Ultima Replenisher when it comes to ingredients. If someone is low on magnesium then will have problems in the bathroom. But, the sodium, potassium and magnesium together help each of those work properly. I used to take them individually, but the magnesium didn't work as well until I started taking it in the blend.

    Just an FYI-
My mom was an amazing old school cook, a dash of this and a pinch of that! Sometimes when something was a little too β€œsalty” she would peel a small potato and drop it in whatever she was cooking and let it simmer to just done! Then she would pull the potato out and throw it away! She said the potato absorbed some of the salt! She would also do this when she β€œaccidentally” scorched the beans! With 6 kids, she NEVER threw away anything! Btw…you’re looking amazing!

Despite my addiction to cookbooks, I rarely use them. I grew up watching my mom, she tasted as she went, dash of this, a pinch of that and she was the best cook I ever knew. She doesn't cook anymore. I cook all the time, I have enjoyed the challenge of making my comfort foods and favorites in a healthier, ketogenic way. When adding the seasoning, from the beginning is best but err on the side of underseasoning. It's because any salt you add will concentrate right along with the cream. When you said you were adding 2 tbsp. if old bay I thought that's going to be salty. Also, using pre seasoned products like the meatballs, they are also highly seasoned and will add saltiness to your finished dish. I would have started with one teaspoon and tasted when fully reduced, then tweak.

My Mom avoided cooking as much as possible. I grew up eating way too much over processed foods. My maternal grandmother realized that she didn’t do her kids any favors by not teaching them to cook & she helped me learn to cook classic Southern dishes that she liked.

I like to cook according to my cupboards. I would pick things in my pantry that needed to used up soon & design our meals around that. My sister who was the head cook at the local hospital would freak out. She was ALWAYS disturbed that I wouldn't follow a recipe to the T!! However, she really enjoyed my cooking–not sure if it was that it was so good or the fact that she didn't have to cook!?! Loved the strawberry shortcakes for the girls! Back in the days, I use to have Twinkies as the base for our Strawberry Shortcakes. The creamy center of the Twinkies was so yummy!
