So many variations. I start with a layer of frozen waffles cut into bite sized pieces. Then a layer of hash brown patties crumbled. Add a layer of cooked sausage, then shredded cheese. Cover this mixture with beaten eggs and cream. Can be baked at 350 degrees right away or refrigerated overnight. Freezes well for make ahead quick breakfast. Hope you try it.

I make a dish similar to this without a crust on the regular… something between a frittata, omelet and a casserole I guess 🙂 Easy to scale up or down, easy use of leftover veg and meats, good and simple any time of the day! Thanks for the tip about using a leavening agent, gonna try that out next time 😉

Looks delicious. Lee and I like eggs but our son Daniel doesn't. My weekend is Tuesdays and Wednesdays since that is when I'm off from work. Might be an idea of a make ahead breakfast I can reheat on busy work days.
