Recently I downloaded some sleep apps that play music or other sounds such as rain, ocean, crackling fire, etc. I set the timer for an hour. So far this is helping. If you try it just be sure you turn the internet off and/or set up times for no notifications so you don't get interruptions. I think I'll try a few meditation apps next. I've always had a hard time shutting my mind off.

Oh man! right on time again for me! Ive been using a cannabis edible every night for the last 7yrs to sleep and its great. However…I started culinary school on Monday and I no longer have the pleasure of just being a house engineer where I can use cannabis. I NEED at least 9hrs and its tough getting at least 6 this week. Im strugglin. LOL Hope to try some of these!

for me magnesium has made a massive difference in the last week – I now have 8 hours overnight instead of 5 but will be looking at your other suggestions as the 8 hours is in 2-3 hour lots and I would like to sleep longer at anyone go or be able to go straight back to sleep after a loo trip – I do have Gaba in my basket on iherb but they are out of stock until 25th and will be looking at L-Tryptophan as well

I have to take Benadryl every night to sleep. Once about an hour before bed and again around 2:003:00 in the morning. I would love to take something natural in lieu of the Benadryl. Can't wait to try these things. Thank you.

I take doxylamine succinate from Walmart brand! One per night sleep like lazy teenage boy! Wake up fresh like a toddler on Christmas. I have the Mood Cure Book and take all the supplements required as well. That is a SUPERB BOOK! Amino acids are critical for mental health. Thank for this video!

I've been taking melatonin and valerian root on and off to help me fall asleep. Good point about the melatonin though.

Valerian root seems to make me a bit groggy some mornings. I'll have to try tryptophan and gaba, especially since I have the occasional bouts of anxiety.

5HTP promotes serotonin and so is very calming but for some people it lowers dopamine so can be a depressive and drag down mood. I would definitely read around 5HTP because it can be dangerous if taken with anxiety medication and some cough medicines.
