Today is day 4 (again) of eating VERY low fat/high carb. I'm not doing it to lose weight, but hopefully, get my blood sugar down. I got excited when my fasting number dropped after the 1st day to 100, but yesterday and this morning, I bounced back up a bit. It still weirds me out to pour sugar on carbs. Ha! In my case, I'm currently using really good maple syrup. It was even good on canned no fat "refried beans" with brown rice and green beans. You'd think it would be gross, but I actually liked it. šŸ™‚ Now, a benefit I am already noticing is that I'm starting to sleep a bit better. I have HORRID insomnia, so any improvement is a blessing. My brain seems to need truckloads of serotonin from carbs in order to sleep.

You said you donā€™t show food too often because itā€™s so simple, but thatā€™s the best part! I think thereā€™s more to be said for a lifestyle where you can eat the same old stuff day after day and get results than complicated macro/recipe nonsense. Too many ridiculous prep work/expensive grocery haul/supplement vids on YouTube already. Iā€™d watch these as often as youā€™d care the make them!

you found the sauce!! I've gotta get back to Costco (2.5 hours from me boo) because my kids haven't stopped asking for it since we ran out. Good to know it's still there. Thanks for sharing this…everything looks great

This looks exactly like my diet šŸ˜‚ been averaging 10g fat a day solid for a week now and journaling which has really helped with staying on track. The biggest struggle is when the people I'm with get takeaways etc.

I also come from a weight lifting background so the cycling is taking work, my average for an hour is about 95W.. so 150 is great to me šŸ˜‚

Can you make a video on ā€œwhat I took outā€ of my diet please – salt, fat, caffeine, sugar, flour etc
Also make a video ā€œwhy I hate coffeeā€ itā€™s such a horrible hormone disruptor people have no idea and the toxin laced acidic beans eat up the gut. Love your vids ā¤

For me, Rice is still šŸ’Æ when it comes to staying lean and feeling amazing. Plus absolutely NO CRAVINGS. Especially in fall/winterā€¦. I still do great even with less fruit.

Looks delicious! I've been doing either rice with Dr. McDougall's golden gravy, steamed peas and corn on top or the same with mashed potatoes, it's really delicious and keeps me satisfied for dinner. Thank you for giving us a day of your meals!
