Here in America that wouldn't happen. I live in New Jersey and we would demand the problem be solved. I have noticed in traveling to other countries that standards are so much lower. I know its said that Americans are spoiled. I think instead that we have higher expectations and if they arent met those responsible will soon find themselves out of a job. I have trouble understanding why people outside of America don't demand better from those who are paid to serve them. I think what you have to go thru is unacceptable.

I may have missed it, but what source of power do you guys have there? You’re from Ontario right? Here in BC we have hydro and it only goes out maybe once every year or two. That amount of outages is crazy! I’d be seriously complaining, especially with you guys working from home.

Power grid system probably needs an upgrade in your area. Older equipment is all…. more prone to outstages from wind or foilage or eveb animals . Subdivision may be on seperate section of grid if they dont expeerience same…and likely new equipment too as had to be install go support the new development.

Been loving these videos so much … its funny because I was saying to my husband how it's weird that power shortages rarely ever happen anymore in England, when i was younger it used to happen all the time.

Very cool that little generator. Very odd your power does go out that much for sure. But this is a great save. And cooking with the heat off still allows a bit of warmth in the house too. Every thing looks yummy as always. And on another note Hydro has to upgrade their commitment to the so many houses that are paying for hydro one would think and bring the service up to date. WTH. Hopefully with another subdivision coming they will. Good grief. If not well no one will move in to the new houses and pay hydro for hydro that they have sporadically. That will be none according to this drain on the system already with to many so how add more. Hydro charges big bucks where we live and I am sure you pay a lot for it as well. So this is bizarre. But the new subdivision might be the saving grace as hydro about to receive tons of new revenue. Hopefully. Gosh I am being a mother hen here. Love and hugs.

Oh no. As soon as you mentioned the power source I was like, please don’t let this be a stealth sponsorship. When you changed the subject I breathed a sigh of relief. And then, there it came.
I’m not against sponsorships at all, I just much prefer when people use that banner at the beginning, so I know what I’m getting into.
