I have an egg steamer. Steams to your preference by measured water. Also great for fast, easy egg pudding
I put them in the water cold, then bring everything to a boil, then I start the timer: 3m for runny yolks, 5m for medium, and 7m for full hard boiled. Then I immediately submerge them in ice water to stop the cooking process, then after a few minutes in the ice water, they’re ready and they peel like a dream! The rapid change in temperature forces the egg to separate from the shell membrane.
Soft boil 9 min
Boil for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes for a soft boiled egg! A 7 minute boil it will be HARD.
I just eat the yokes! my dog eats the protein Rich whites . I consume my eggs raw. I eat 9 eggs a day . my dog goes around popping room clearing garnaids!!!

you can steam eggs too,9 minutes for creamy yolks, from cold. They tend to crack less and it's faster (less water to boil).
I like my eggs scrambled in butter.
