My favourite way to have oatmeal is to cook it with almond milk, a bit of maple syrup, cinnamon, & a pinch of pink salt. Then I top it with fresh blueberries, hemp seeds, chia seeds, some chopped nuts, a splash of almond milk and another drizzle of maple syrup. Soooo good. 🤤
I have a similar relationship to yours with oatmeal. Dont love it but learning to love it haha. I made the weirdest recipe the other day. It was a poultry recipe on a bed of oatmeal with a sweet raisin (I used dates) syrupy topping. The oatmeal had garlic and broth etc in it and was savory! That was a new flavor for me! Haha. It was actually quite good though 😋
The food 😍🤤😋
U make cooking look so fun! I really wanna try the date candy!💕💕💕
My toddler would of smacked the veggie out of my hand… 😢 #pickyeater
Can you show how you make the asparagus?? Or share a link of a previous video. I feel I always overcook mine! 😅
Hey Nikki! If you don't like oatmeal.. try making it with milk ( I used lactaid (lactose free milk) but you can use almond milk or any kind of milk), instead of water, will make you change your mind about oatmeal!!!! Milk makes the oats so creamy and yummy! I also add brown sugar, salt, a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and a pinch nutmeg to the milk. I add my milk first then and brown sugar and spices (sometimes fruit) and let it simmer. once the liquid has simmered I add the oats and I like adding ground flax seed, so I add some of that. . I cook it for about 5-10 minutes on medium- low heat and it comes out perfect! Give it a try!!! Note: if it looks dry add more milk. The oats can take a bit more time to cook and they just soak up liquid so don't be afraid to add more milk!!
Literally cringing at you cutting hair like that lol 🤣
Definitely need to try those tacos
The salad
Hey Nikki
Great video Nikki!
I am looking forward to more podcast episodes. I absolutely loved the one on homeschooling!
I am currently reading Dumbing Us Down by John Taylor Gato and it is so good, I would highly recommend. Public schooling seems to be only that – ‘schooling’ and not education. I look forward to watching your journey!
I loved that you cut his hair yourself but will you take him to the barber shop and let them cut it or continue to cut his hair yourself.?
You're videos have taught me to use up the food I have in the fridge before it goes bad❤
Next time try sautéing the apples in some butter with cinnamon and pinch of salt and add to top of oats 🤤
I thought I was being a nerd about poblano😅😂 love it
Does it ever concern you when you use alot of salt? I grew up with my dad who avoided using too much and barely used it so I was just wonder
Wait…are you guys still watching little house on the prairie?! Or like watching it again? I feel like you’ve been watching it for years now lol! There’s a lot of seasons though right?
I really enjoy your videos! Especially these
Thank you so much for the inspiration! We also have kids and sometimes we just run out of the ideas…..
Just a tip don’t use warm water to defrost easy way to get food poisoning
Logan is the cutest 😍
Omg I don’t watch a lot of YouTube these days because I’m still trying to learn how to balance my life with my two boys but I can’t believe your son is already that big. Feels like I was watching your labor vlog yesterday. He’s so cute! How old is he now?
Those tacos look so good 🤤
Corn tortillas are usually gluten free! Just so you know in the future, options are out there 🙂

How did you cook the chicken in the instant pot? I've never tried one in mine

Logan is so cute ♥️
First of all, Logan is adorable. That blonde hair is so cute! I also have recently been getting into listening to more podcasts while I do things around the house so I'm looking forward to following yours. Plus now I'm craving tacos haha
I love this video
I spy Isabel Paige!!! Love her channel! 😍😎✌
All the recipes looked delicious as usual 😉 you have such a calming voice 😉 ✨✨✨✨🥰🥰🥰 Mary
I'm the same way about oatmeal. It's slowly grown on me but I don't always like it. My favorite is a prepacked oatmeal I buy at the store that has lots of apples and nuts.
My grandma makes the best oats! And she boils the water first THEN adds the oats best way to not get mushy oatmeal!! It keeps the rolled oats in that shape it’s the only way to eat oatmeal otherwise it’s wayyy to thick or watery
Love the way you cut Logan’s hair
These videos are my favorite! ❤️ thanks for doing them. Your hard work is appreciated!
Crockpot oatmeal is a game changer!! Love watching you cook!
I love the dress that you’re wearing in the thumbnail! Where’d you get it?
Love the asparagus!!! We always have dinner with it once a week 💕
My son adores tacos
Loved this vid as always. Tip for peeling apples is to peel with a small sharp knife like you would a potato, works perfect and saves buying another tool.
Make sure to use cold and not warm/hot to thaw meat so as to keep food safe 😌
Totally going to start feeding my daughter tacos that way. She’s about five weeks older than Logan and I always feel bad that she misses out on taco night – I don’t know why I never thought of doing it like that
I need to try the dates!! Could you link the Strawberries and Cream tea or let us know the brand? That sounds so good!!
