I'm a volume eater too, ex anorexic and ex binge eater . I graze constantly…my way to combat this is by putting 1-1.5kg of veggies in the instant pot while I eat breakfast so I have it to snack on during my work day, I also snack on fruit. 🙂 breakfast is always oats with lots of fruit, and sometimes veg, or some extra starch (usually potatoes) shortly after, dinner is huge piles of greens and veggies with some form of bean/starchy dish.

The meals change sometimes but volume eating in general saved me from my EDs

I don't always wash my pots and pans, either. Who cares, if there was only water and potatoes or stuff in there, right?
I found you through the Chef AJ interview – I'm a fellow 'Kölner'. Just jumped the low carb ship and trying this on for size. I find the food easy enough to adapt to, tastewise (I haven't had fruits and starches for so long, I'm basically in heaven even without oil and much salt) but man, the bloating is brutal. I look like I'm 5 month pregnant. Had to cut back on eating so many veggies after only 3 days, my digestion just can't handle it yet.
But I'm determined to stick it out for at least a month, without weighing either myself or my food, just to see, what happens. For science! 😄
