Using the plastic liners is not a good thing. Especially in a crock pot where the plastic is heated and the food is sitting in it for several hours. Yes, they are BPA free, but what do you think happened when they stopped using BPA— they have other chemicals to take it's place. You are a young woman who will be wanting to have children in the future. So please, just grease the crock and then when you get done cooking and remove the food , then stick the crock in the sink , give it a squirt of liquid dish soap and fill it with hot water and let it soak awhile. There won't be a need to scrub, just a quick swish to loosen the stuff up and put it in the dishwasher.
