Rose, As another lazy vegan who hates washing my blender: I gotta share my mason jar hack. Make your sauces (like the cilantro yogurt) in a wide mouth mason jar using a immersion blender on turbo setting. You may need to chop your herbs a bit first as a head start, but my All-Clad stainless stick blender works great for this. I make all my dressings, sauces, smoothies, crepe batter even some dips this way. Then, you store in the same mason jar using the lids and screw on rings. Really cuts down on dirty dishes. Plus: I dont like storing food in plastic and BONUS:you can put those mason jars in the microwave if you need to heat up a sauce.

True, fruit doesn't make you fat, particularly when eaten whole. However, people with diabetes and those who are prediabetic have to be careful with the quantity we eat to keep glucose levels steady. Not to mention other hidden sugars in higher glycemic vegetables and grains like white rice, white potatoes, etc. We need to consider our inner health, not just weight to prevent serious health problems as we age.

Pancakes looked so good with the fruit. Yum. Rice cooker sounded like a bird. LoL. This all looked so good. Beans should cook longer then thirty minutes. Christmas music?? It's August.

Your breakfast looks wonderful! I am salivating over here.

Love the suggestion of measuring out the syrup. I also use a dry pan or a very light spray of oil to reduce the fat and calories when making pancakes 🥞 .

I love using brown rice flour, I'm not gluten free either but I feel that its a better choice over all purpose flour.

I used to make 90 second bread using brown rice flour, yogurt, baking soda and powdered egg substitute by Bobs Red Mill. It came out super fluffy from the yogurt and baking soda reaction.
