I feel like fried rice is mostly a side dish rather than main course. Maybe that’s why your husband thought he was missing something? I would much rather see you do many recipes with a voice over in it. 😊

Try adding fresh or even dried ground ginger to the fried rice! That is the flavor that he is “missing” from the rice! I felt the same way when making it at home until adding ginger! Let me know if you try it! As always you are my favorite YouTuber! Your doing amazing!

Hi, April! Try a vegan week? Healthy, of course. Just veg, fruit, beans/lentils, nuts seeds and whole grains. My work outs are next level when I eat like this. Might be fun to try as an experiment. Keep up the great work!!

Thank you for rating these for us! This is so helpful and I already know I will try some of these for meal prep. Voice over is great with multiple recipes.

For the fried rice, maybe some fresh herbs/spices like cilantro, grated ginger, and scallions after re-heating would add a little depth of flavor. Sesame seeds would add some calories but a light sprinkle would really up the flavor.

You can cook with any plant-based milk. Almond is my least favorite but it also has the least amount of calories so I understand why the recipe calls for it.

My grandmother used to add canned tuna to her mac and cheese. Not sure if this is a suitable alternative to the chicken if you are looking for variety. Adding some peas to the mac and cheese would also be good!

I'm glad your kitchen looks normal, like someone is actually cooking in it! I can't stand super clean spaces or dishes in YT cooking videos. It makes me feel inadequate – like why does it look so easy when you are cooking and it's so messy/difficult when I try to do it! 🤣

Suggestion- use Chinese Five Spice and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds in the fried rice. Game changing flavor! If you can’t find Five Spice at your market, order from Penzey’s.

I like the voiceover for cooking. I will want to try the Fried rice 🍚. I am trying to be careful about what I eat right now until I meet with a specialist and get tests done. :/

I’m proud of you. Being a social media star really puts yours life out there and everyone wants to judge you. I commend you for sharing your journey. Keep at it. I’ve been struggling to get back on a lifestyle change myself.

I need variety, it's my downfall. I get obsessed with finding and trying new things but healthy and low carb and especially keto doesn't give me a lot of options. Especially if I'm trying to avoid maltitol
