I’m so proud of you doing your best at exercise. I house walk because I can’t do much else. Every step you take is in the right direction and better than not doing anything.

That's so great that you can do that much exercise when you're not able to exercise . I am able to exercise and don't do as much as I should . I made a commitment to myself to get up and exercise because as you get older , they say if you don't do it you'll regret it . So you do what you can . I enjoyed your video , I'm sorry you didn't have a loss and neither did I . But we both know why . Great video .

I feel the same way you do about the snow! I love it so much and we don't get near as much as we used to here in Western KY. Great job on starting the exercise again that is something I most definitely need to work on. I sure hope you feel better soon!

My nephew had a head injury 🤕 because he was trying to break up a fight. He lost his sense of taste and smell and gained so much weight !!! He said he just kept eating and eating trying to get taste 👅. My fav is canned spaghetti or spagettios on toast .

Start out slow and easy in the exercise so you don’t hurt yourself. I have been wondering about the bicycle pedals that you can use under a desk. Does anyone know if they do anything?

Joan made a comment on one of her videos regarding buying treats. “If you say no at the store you only have to say no one time. If you bring it home you have to say no over and over again”. Something like that. It really stuck in my head. With that………..I still bring a treat home now and again and regret it every time. Congrats on getting some movement in. FYI, my daughter in law tested negative but had all the symptoms. They tested for antibodies and it should she had them. Her doctor said the new variant has been giving false negatives. Either way, hope you feel better. You definitely look and sound better. Thanks for company today.

You know what I did the SECOND I finished watching your video? I went to You Tube, found a 1 mile walking video, put my tennies on and knocked it out! Thank you, Miss Kim, for your words of wisdom and motivation. 99% sure I wouldn't have done that if I hadn't heard your talk this morning. Move it or lose it, 'cause we ain't getting any younger. Appreciate ya, Girlie! 😘

I feel the same way, I got sick last week Too Not Covid but a head cold similar to yours. I’m at work at 5am everyday and I’m outside freezing because I pretrip my school bus 🚌 . I lost my taste and smell the other day I was craving pizza so I had a frozen pizza and I put it in my toaster oven and all most forgot about it, it was burnt and I’m sure it stunk but I didn’t smell anything Lol
I sent you a get well card

Let’s look at the positives: you didn’t order Little Debbies’s, you decided not to eat out for a month, and you exercised two times. Those actions are to be celebrated. We didn’t but any “may be snowed in food” but I did make Ansley’s favorite Texas Sheet cake and it called my named for days until it was gone 4 days later. Hence I gained 1.5 lbs. Well I got back on track and started over. As to exercising, I don’t like it but I do it for my health. I have to do it first thing every morning or I would find excuses to postpone it. Take care.

I was born and raised in Upstate NY and as a kid I LOVED snow but as an adult, not so much as we got on average, 60 inches a year. Now that I live in TX and we don't get any snow to speak of, I miss it. And yes, I get giddy, happy, and excited when we are going to get our 1 -2 inches. So I completely understand xoxo ~Michelle Drury~

Some of that gain might have just been from swelling due to the exercise. You're body will adjust over time. I read if you lose your taste like that you should eat stuff with strong flavors (maybe some onion or garlic?) To help it come back. I hope you feel better soon 😊

Sorry for the gain, but the good thing is that we can hit the reset button and get back on the bus! I am glad that you got prepared just in case! I'm proud of you for trying to workout! I know you were enjoying walking outside while you could.

You make my day! So much of what you say applies to me too. I had a bad 2021 because of things out of my control so I got myself into a funk. I was living in a pity party but nobody but me showed up. And I partied hard! Now I'm 60 pounds heavier and miserable. BUT I'm back from the party and ready to treat myself with kindness and respect. Thanks again for your down-to-earth realistic views. I believe I can, so I will. 😊👍

Hard to believe you had more snow than we did-we only had about 2 inches and I’m in Missouri. I preferred Franco American Spaghetti and Spaghetti Os over Chef Boyardee. This week will be a better week and congratulations on exercising.
