Have you tried carrot and parsnip mashed together with butter and pepper. Cook until they are very soft. Swead is another you can mash with butter and pepper that is a soft veg. I agree the scale will be weighing different to the old oe. I also had mine weigh different and then I tried a new battery and that fixed it so I now know when it weighs different three times the battery needs changing. such a great update Kim enjoy those wee boys.

Scales all weigh different. When you get a new scale you never know what you will weigh. My scale (Inefit, through amazon) seems pretty consistent. Your meals not arriving may have been a problem too as you did flex on different days. I know it made it hard in my mind when I changed scales, but it might be closer to the doctor's scale. You are doing fantastic staying on plan. The older I get, the more I dislike cooking. Used to cook dinner 6 evenings per week and make candy and batches of cookies for the holidays. Now that we're retired hubby cooks at least once a week and daughter that's living with us once a week, one night fix your own (leftovers or a sandwich).

Loved your video Kim, I'm having so much trouble with chocolate/candy recently, once I start I can't stop. Needed to hear the less you eat, the less you want to eat. Stay strong regardless what the scale says. Love to hear you talk about Sebastian and Jacob, I have 3 grandbabies and they are the light of my life.

Good to know about Amazon. I hear ya about weight and the scales. So I've been on the straight and narrow, weighing, measuring, counting, etc. First WK I lost 2.4 then last WK (no cheating), gained 1.2!!! I'm so disappointed ā˜¹ļø and I have a WW scale!! I can eat blizzards and maintain like this!! I don't like frozen green beans either!! I have used them stir fried with garlic and beef base, I can eat a pot! I grew up eating everything out of a can! OkrašŸ¤®!

I like your commitment to overcoming obstacles! Regarding the scale maybe you weighed light the first time you weighed on your old scale. I think you're right its not a gain! You go girl! So proud of you!

My favorite was to cook zucchini and quash is to slice into coins, then toss in ziplock bag with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Then sautƩ in Pam sprayed pan turning until golden on both sides. Btw: I
donā€™t like frozen green beans either. I love canned beans cooked Southern style in the crockpot all day long with bullion cube, onion flakes and sweetener.

Probably the scale Maybe the flex meals ? And weight loss isnā€™t linear ā€¦ up and down ā€¦ then down down etc ā€¦ just keep pushing forward ā€¦ look up that old article on google why the scale lies ā€¦ be sure to check the battery too . Iā€™m sure itā€™s a fluke

It could have been that the older scale was incorrect to start with, so there is no way you will have a accurate starting weight, did you compare the old scale & new scale weight difference. You may never know for sure. Maybe the store bought frozen meals higher in sodium! Don't get discouraged you have been doing great, eating more non starchy veggies do seem to help with the weight lost.
As a young girl I was 5" 11", my dad always told me, " I had a good understanding & most people will have to look up to me!" Lol
Stay strong, looking forward to seeing your successful week to come!

Kim there is no way you gained that weight with what you are eating. It takes 3500 calories to gain 1 pound. You are doing so good please dont get discouraged you need those new knees to keep up with those great grand kids.

We love the skinny asparagus. We roast them with olive oil and salt and they taste like bacon. Don't be discouraged Kim. You are doing great. The scale may be just weighing higher but it will accurately tell you what you lose going forward.

You are doing amazing!! You KNOW it is the new scale. All scales are different. Donā€™t let this mess with you and derail you! Just use this new scale moving forward and forget the numbers from the old scale that was not accurate.

Itā€™s definitely the scale as you are killing it!!!!!! I had that same issue, went through several scales and ended up with a Fitbit Aria Air scale. I just use it as a regular scale as I donā€™t even have a Fitbit anymore. LOL. I could get on 10 times in a row and it says the same thing each time!!!! Again Kim, you are doing amazing, keep it up!!! (Iā€™m on the struggle bus big time, I need your motivation! lol)
