I always add cinnamon to my ragu – it really adds a depth of flavour that balances the wine. Turkey ragu is divine too – my favourite at the moment.

It can go by even quicker if you prep the veggies on your day off, or go ahead and make a huge pot of this one night (without the noodle in it at first) and freeze it in portion size bags and then add the noodles whenever you’re ready to reheat the sauce. Take what you need out of the freezer and put it in the fridge before heading off to work and that way it’s pretty much defrosted by the time you’re home. Like a good ragu and bolognese, it only gets better the more it simmers. Great meal prep recipe.

Thanks for this one Kaleb. I might grate some zucchini or spinach in too, for my kids who don't eat veggies. Might cook double and freeze some for when time is really tight. This would also be a good one to give to someone who is sick, or just had a baby etc and needs a little TLC.

I'm pretty sure my nonna would approve Kaleb 😊 I love that you grate your veggies as well!! Looks really delicious and I bet your house smells wonderful! Simp!e ingredients but the flavor is huge!! Use a good grated cheese, bread, and some vino and this is what its all about!! Thanks Kaleb! 💖
