Hey Momma Mel. That was a really good grocery haul. You got a good deal on alot of things. The cheese is a biggie! I have to have my cheese! Can't run out. I think it's so weird how many of the same items we buy. You and I could do a matching up game of what you get and what I get. We woul be in a big competition with the cheese of who has the most! We mostly buy sugar just for tea also. I love the tomato basil wheat thins and the Tazikii Triscuits!! They are so so good! Little Debbie cakes have went up like every thing else an we haven't been buying any of them, but we don't eat alot of sweets. My husband likes the sweet and salty bars and we get them from Sam's Club, and they have went up like crazy! He only eats them at work on one of his breaks and the other break he eats a pack of the Lance peanut butter crackers. I pack his lunch for work. He gets better food us packing it than what is available at work. He has been liking chicken wraps and deli meat wraps lately. I put shredded or chucks of chicken, lettuce, onions, oregano, shredded cheese, bacon, and Marie's Creamy Garlic Italian dressing or the Taco Bell or the Avacoda Ranch dressing. He absolutely loves them. Then if it's a deli meat wrap it wii be thin ham, pepperoni, salami, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oregano, black olives, shredded cheese and the creamy garlic italian dressing. It just upscales the taste of the wraps or any subs or sandwich. Well all for that. Thought that may give y'all an idea for lunch. I make 2 or 3 of them up and wrap them in foil, then he gets one out and put in his lunch box. It sure has saved us so much money over the years. For 20 years he was in the Air Force, so he always came home for lunch. Now in the civilian world he isn't able to do that.
Hope you have an awesome weekend sweet friend! ~Angela~

Sooo miss Kroger. Had it back home, Indiana, but not down here in eastern NC. Love to watch a good haul. Gives me ideas and products I may have missed on my shopping trips. Best way I've found to save money is to do a pickup order. Fewer impulse buys. Enjoy your channel.

Men, question… how do you remember what coupons you have that you want to use when you go to the store to shop? Do you write them down on paper to remind yourself or just keep looking at your phone?

I need help with this. I do not like to shop for pick up.

    Thank you.

To save money these days, I shop sales and plan meals around those items and what I have on hand. My freezer is pretty packed with meats, because I buy meats on sale and freeze in meal size packs. Times are hard right now and every little savings you get helps. From Montgomery al šŸ™ ā¤ļø

Very nice haul! šŸ‘ŒšŸ˜ I save money by trying to buy very basic and unprocessed food, cooking it from scratch. I make big meals so I'm able to freeze some of it for later when I'm too lazy to cookšŸ˜Š

I save money at the grocery store by cooking most everything from scratch. Not only is it better health wise but you find yourself using the same things in different ways over and over again so actually you're saving money in the long run. I was watching this tonight and my husband walked through and said, "wow, I think I'm going to go live with them." Lol! I don't buy stuff like what you purchase and he would love to have it.šŸŖšŸ¦

Hey Aunt Mel. Hope you're having a wonderful evening and week. Fantastic haul and savings. Love Kroger and their sales. I use the apps I shared with you a few weeks ago. I finally found the Honey BBQ corn chips. They're so delicious.

Itā€™s hard to believe you donā€™t like smoked sausage and riceā€¦GIRRRLLLā€¦ I put Lipton onion soup packet, red beans, and a can of tomatoes with itā€¦I use regular white riceā€¦so goodā€¦my grocery haul was similar and I saved $42.00ā€¦ they have frozen butternut/Brussels sprouts that I like and real easy to makeā€¦ good price. Minus eggs, milk, bread I wonā€™t have to go back for awhile myselfā€¦bought those no crust frozen PB and Jā€™s.. terrible waste of money (but they are good and convenient) but so easy to make your own..thatā€™s ok.. just wanted to try them. Love your haulsā€¦Great ideasā€¦ have a good weekend! I could talk your ear off so Iā€™ll just wrap it up hereā€¦ šŸ™‚
