Im in Canada and food prices have always been insane. A gallon of milk is 8$ here (6.20$USD), 12 eggs at Walmart is 5$ (3.80USD) and 1lb butter is 5$, Chicken breasts is 8-10$ a lb. (6-8$USD) I know all the prices by heart and every other time I book some grocery pickup the prices have gone up 25 cents, 50 cents, 1$ even on everything, it's nuts. I also live in a very small town so theres no 'deal shopping' to do really, you have 3 stores and thats all lol. I love seeing you guys' hauls. 🙂 BTW I dont know about where you live but over here if stuff doesnt sell by the date they often give it to the food bank/pantry.
