New to the channel. Tried two of your dishes in the last two day's. This one and the steamed salmon (would love more of these). They were great. I have a question. I get the difference between light and dark Soy Sauce, but where does golden fit in?

Jeremy, that's a beautiful dish and looks very authentic, but terrible pronunciation! The exact spelling is Bò Kho, so "baw khaw" is a lot closer to how it's supposed to sound. I'll take a nice big bowl now, thank you! 😊 Btw, a crispy baguette needs to go with it, too.

Merry Christmas Mr. Lee. We have a similar kind of stew back in the Philippines minus the star anise and cinnamon. We call it bakareta. I like this recipe jusr for a different aroma and chinese taste. Looks delicious.
