That was a rule at my daughter's school years ago. I would just put the food in her lunch box and deliver it to her and say she forgot her lunch. 😉.

make sure if have a extra lunch pail or b0x and put the lunch in there they don't need to open it up right. lol This country all mess up period. I don't get it neither our Walmart been open the whole time. lol
For about 5 years now our schools here won't accept lunches in restaurant bags or containers. It can be in lunchboxes, plain bags or ziplocs though. The decision came from the federal level but some schools didn't follow it till they had to.
Hope you all feel better soon! My hubby's allergies turned into an upper respiratory infection. Happens this time every year. He tested for Covid as we have a high risk teen with CVID and it was negative. He is a teacher.

I read all the comments with possible reasons why the school wouldn’t let you drop off that lunch, and not one of them or any I can think of is actually valid or logical. 🤦🏽♀️ Sorry for your rough week my friend.❤️☺️

The whole lunch thing still blows my mind. I wish they would have given you a better explanation why because I'm curious. If it's just the fact that people at the restaurant touched it its really no different than you buying things and putting them in his lunchbox. 🤪

If you ever want to or need to do drive thru for him at school again just bring his lunch box in the car with you, go pick his food up and then stick in his lunch box and then drop it off to him. My kid won’t eat school lunch she is just extremely picky but sometimes mornings can get crazy, especially with a new baby in the house. But I’d rather my kid eat than be hungry and grumpy the rest of the day.
I hope you show us how you make both the hash browns casserole and the Doritos pie.
I saw those muffin mixes on CM too, unfortunately there are none at any of my stores, (which is only 4 in a 20 mile radius) lol

I hate when the school makes you feel like you are breaking the law but don’t tell you why. Seems like they change the rules. My school said don’t plan on your kids forgetting things because you can’t drop anything off. When do we plan on forgetting things? Never!
