Thank you Freida for this super helpful video. I just got my Vortex and cannot wait to try all sorts of dishes. Roasting a chicken is definitely on my list and your step by step was clear and made the whole process less intimidating!

I have just ordered one of these machines and was wondering how to go about a chicken rotisserie dish. This nails it for me !!! Lemon or onion in the derriere to help with balancing…..brilliant. I'm doing this the moment my Air Fryer gets here. Greetings from England !!

Thanks for the video and recipe. Very tasty!! I did my first chicken in the basket and it came out awesome. Wanting to try it on the spit the 2nd time. The first one took 50 mins and I felt it could have used more time so I let this one go the full hour. The skin started to char, but wasn't burnt tasting. So crispy but next time I will check it earlier. lol I didn't try your truss method because the butcher used it's own skin to tie the legs. I thought I could cheat and just tie down the wings but it kept trying to fly away. One wing just kept getting loose. lol
