I remember seeing the Amish in their buggies on the highways in Iowa and Wisconsin. We always go to a store in Wisconsin the Amish have. They sell their jellies and vegetables in jars. I really like going there and bringing things home to Las Vegas now.

I love your videos. ~ Greetings to you from the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Happy New Year to you and yours as well. I also put (the clear) Karo syrup in my peanut butter. I add a bit of real butter also. I love it. I've been doing it since I was a little girl. I grew up in a big family. Mama and daddy had seven children and adopted two more. I was the only one in our family that would do that. The rest just sort of looked at me funny. I just told them they didn't know what they were missing. LOL! ~ I have a granddaughter that loves it like I do. Ha!

There is an Amish community east of me. I love traveling there to see the beautiful scenery and farms. You would love it I know. My husband likes to make bread and pizza dough. Hopefully he will watch your video.

I love Amish food and look forward to trying your bread. I coulldn't see what type of mouth you had on your canning jar, but I suggest a wide mouth jar in the future which will make it easier to get your chicken out in chuncks. Love your channel. Happy New Year to your family!

My mom used to eat peanut butter and pickle sandwiches…😳 I admit that I’ve never tried it, but I always thought it was weird.
How I miss making loaves of bread!!! Since going gluten free 10 years ago, whenever I make the gluten free bread, there is no kneading involved because it’s such a gloppy, sticky batter. I was imagining the aroma of yeast bread wafting in your kitchen..😉

Bring on the jokes, Pastor Bryant! The cornier, the better…🤣🤣🤣

Your video has been a treat!

My dear dad would mix karo pancake syrup with pb and eat (with) NOT on bread. Not as a bread spread, just as a treat. I got neighborhood kids to do it. And I raised me kids to have it as a treat. 🙋‍♀️

The best smells are coffee perking, bacon cooking, bread or hard salami baking!
A tip I've learned…I slice through the meat a few times with a butter knife when canned in larger chunks to both break it apart and help it to come out of the jar more readily. I drink coffee every evening.

    Hi Leslie
I don't comment often but I just wanted to say I grew up eating peanut butter and dark Karol syrup. I love it to this day. I just had some on crackers a few days ago.

We have Amish living in our community and we bought our place from an amish family. They have fundraising dinners and the meals are very good. I buy our milk from their dairy, bulk foods from their store. I would love to see a video of you canning chicken. (I eat a lot of chicken since I have alpha gal.) Happy blessed new year!

When do these Vlogmas videos come to an end? I wish you hadn’t jumped on this vlog trend. My life is so busy I can’t find time to watch someone else’s life. I enjoy your regular cooking videos much better.
