Saw these in Costco a couple of years ago so they're definitely still around. Corning also brought back the original White Corningware with the blue flower – had to get some for the nostalgia factor!

I still have two casseroles from my set in the early 90s. I never use them. I use them as candy dishes, hah! I had the cranberry ones, and I used them for a while but they had nonstick in them and it ruined. I'm not a fan. I only use stainless steel pots now.

I remember the Visions cookware, but I never owned any. I see pieces in thrift stores now and then. I did have a Pyrex coffeepot, which I enjoyed using. I had an electric stove, so to prevent the heating element from coming in contact with the glass, I had to use a little wire grid.that sat on the element.
Always enjoy your videos. You and Eric are a great team!

I’ve been using these for at least35 to 40 years. I have had some glass come off because of hitting the 2.5 L sauce pan with something. I did cause some glass to come off of the 1 L sauce pan when trying to do a caramel icing. It became hard & burned, I scraped with a knife and used steel wool to get it out but messed up the inside corners. I have one from my dad that is heavier than the set I originally have. I use mine at least twice a week for regular meals.

I've had a set since the '80's and have used it constantly since then. Fun cookware! The only thing is that it's not non-stick, I've found. Put in oil/butter and heat those babies up and cook!

Hi Amy, the best I can remember back then probably was the mid 70s. A guy was selling it at a swap meet or flea market whichever side of the country you’re on. I don’t recall the cookware, but I did buy a set of dishes and bowls and cups looks like the same smoke glass color, what sold me is that he took one of the dishes and skipped it across the parking lot like a frisbee it didn’t scrape it it didn’t chip it didn’t do anything I was sold. I still have some of it laying around. I’m sorry I didn’t buy more of it.

I'd be careful with tapping metal utensils on the edge of the pots because that's how our Pyrex frying pan developed a vertical crack that was slowly growing and we had to stop using it. It's best to use wooden or silicone utensils. Just have that in mind. They look great, but I wouldn't recommend having them as your main cooking set. With time as you use them they will develop a cloudy layer on the inside (it's really hard to get it off even with the help of a dishwasher) and food will start to stick to the bottom. I had to discard a whole set of those.

I had a set in the 80's and 90's. A lot of things that I cooked would stick to the bottom, so I quit using them. I think they were made of pyrex.

My mom had these back in the late 70's. Not sure who made them but mom was Corningware fan back then. I was always terrified to make the rice she assigned me to do. I just knew they were going to break! 😆

Hi Amy, Ai remember the Visions Cookware but never had a set. I had a few pieces of the White Corningware with the blue flowers, but by 1981 I invested in a good set of multi-ply stainless steel cookware. Vita Craft of Michigan was very expensive for the time, but I still have several pieces left and it has lasted 42 years. I think I did good on my $600 investment.

I have a set that I have had since the 80's I used it on my gas stove and the only one I had to break was because it ran dry and on the burner to long while I was in the bathroom and forgot about it

I have used my pyrex blue cookware for 30 years, I didn’t know when they were made? The handles attach or detach I love them, I had a set of the ones your showing, but I did not like them as much as the pyrex.
