Narges can add chicken meat to the lentils and it will be more flavorful. One breast from a chicken is plenty. Just remove the meat from the bones, boil the bones with the lentils for flavor then you can discard the bones when the cooking is done. You don’t need much meat, just a little bit just to flavor the lentils. It’s also good with rice too.

نرجس🛑 أرجوكي لا تنسي إبنة عمك ( طيبة) هي وحدها عانت كثيرا" من الجوع والبرد والقهر والفقر أما الآن هي إشترت أرض وبنت منزل وهي تبني الآن مزرعة للماشية …لو أني أعرف أسماء المناطق عندكم لكنت أعطيتك عنوانها…مع العلم أنها ليست بحاجة أحد بعد أن نسيها الجميع .😢
What a happy family. It’s nice to hear the boys laughing, screaming, running around having a good time. The father singing while he’s working, mom making bread. And it all off grid as you would say. No modern amenities, TVs, PlayStations. I love it. This is how I grew up, running around w no shoes, climbing up in the cliffs, herding sheep. We haul our water from a well, no electricity. We had a lantern, chopped our own wood for fire and cooking. Slept on dirt floor on sheep skin. I look back on it now and thankful I was able to grow up the old way w my grandmother. I’m Native American from America. I see how Iranians live, and it so familiar in a lot of ways to how I was raised. brings back good memories. ❤
