My father in law was a “consultant “ for the US troops back then. That got him the opportunity to bring his family to the states. Had that not happened I wouldn’t have my lovely wife and our 2 beautiful kids.
War is a bitch for both sides. The pho looks great though.
My uncle was a marine lieutenant in south Vietnam. My dad was a medical doctor (anesthesiologist ) who also served in the south Vietnam Army. Both never shared their horror stories with us, which I think was a lifetime of torture for both of them.
