Hi helen, I liked your videos and recipes, it looks so tasty, I'm planning to make this dish, I just wanna ask something, what is the ingredients of the five aroma that you used on marinating he beef brisket? Because Im confuse, is it the five aroma like the Chinese have(garlic powder, onions powder and etc?)? Or it is the cinnamon powder, star anis powder and etc? Tnx for your answer more power.. 😊

After watching several recipes, I finally had confidence in trying out yours. My family and my guests really praised your recipe sky high. They said the local beef noodle shop will close if I cooked the way you taught me and I opened a shop selling your version of beef noodles/stew. I liked everything about it but next time, I would not put any sugar, but as a side dish, serve salted preserved veg sliced very thinly with fried shallots. I used bone broth instead of cocnut water (too lazy to drive few miles to buy it) I'll use coconut water the next time. Yes, I was brave enough to invite guests to eat with us because as I looked at you cook, I knew it would turn out well. Thank you, and hope to try out more of your recipes. I rate this recipe 5 Star. Would you like to open a shop here in Malaysia and give the so called beef noodle shop a run for their mone??? LOL

This looks awesome. I'll go shopping and buy the ingredients next week. The variations make it very suitable for a single household like mine. That way I'll have a different meal each day. Thanks a lot for his recipe.

So unhealthy. Girl, you need to stop using sugar and chicken salt you gotta read the ingredient that's in the seasonings you use. Your beautiful but you're never gonna lose weight and will only get fatter as you age if don't be active about researching learning the things that you put intoo your body.

"…beef goes better with soy sauce…" you remind me very much of my mom, who uses soy sauce instead of fish sauce for every beef dish. When I rent my own place next year I'll definitely give these recipes a shot. Keep up the good work!
