I am a serial shopper (not cereal). My wife commonly needs to reel me in. I love to shop for manager's specials. Since I have started Keto, it has not gotten any better. I am experimenting with all sorts of low-carb foods and recipes. You are responsible for most of it. Thank you for all the hard work you do for the Keto community.

I am so in looooove with the way you bring us your excellent contents. So honest and vulnerable and humble! Thanks again for the encouragement to organize and declutter!
Will you please recomend brands of amino, protein, and mostly, electrolytes. So far, Dr Verg and LMNT spike my sugar to the sky!!! TIA!

Thanks Steve for another great video. I have a bunch of stuff on hand also. I'm the only keto person in my house so it can take me months to finish items. I probably have 3 months of food on hand. Don't worry about negative comments. I think everyone gets them and most have no validity. I think you are the best and provide super high quality content. Can't wait for your book!

I think about how long we could survive without having to go shopping all the time!
My husband and I grew up on farms in the country where it took 40 minutes to the nearest grocery shop, so stocking up was essential. Now we live in a big city and 5 minutes to many shops but we love buying different gourmet ingredients and are diehard foodies. We have a huge pantry, 2 big fridges and 2 big freezers that are always so full we can’t find anything! Oh I forgot about the bar fridge just for the condiments and the spice cabinet filled with over 100 different spices (and a garden full of herbs) We are definitely food hoarders. I have a worm farm and 3 compost bins to alleviate my guilt. Also I’m the only one in our family to clean out our fridges and freezers and manage the inventory. After I do a big food declutter my husband goes to the shops for a few fresh items then comes home with bags of ingredients and fills up the spaces 🤪 We could probably survive for about 4 weeks for a family of 5 (non Keto) but would miss our fresh produce….especially eggs and cream!

Steve, whatever happened to the grounding you were doing at night? Seemed like that was helping you but I don't recall seeing an update where you said you were ditching it. Apologies if I just missed that.

You can't copyright a recipe. Imagine the guy who invented the burger I mean every burger is technically copied them. The times you can tell is when it's super blatantly obvious and when the text especially is literally copy pasted. I've had this happen many times, I've had my photos and recipes used to make and sell Keto books on amazon and it's CRAZY! But like you still cannot copyright a recipe and something like a caramel sauce is so basic that it's ridiculous to assume it's copied unless you literally copied someone else's texts and measurements which no one needs to do for a caramel sauce. It's like let me copy someone else's recipe for a ham and cheese omelet. Makes no sense really. People have too much time on their hands.

On the keto chow ninja creami, I freeze it with out added fat. Press the lite button, then on the re-stir add 2 tb of cream then. Turns out creamy, otherwise it took me 3-4 re-stirs. For many years I have taken potassium and magnesium before bed for leg cramps. It helps for better sleep but can still have 1-2 nights that I don't sleep well

Hi Steve, I’m surprised someone said that about you stealing a recipe because you always give credit where it is due! 🙂 Also, I look forward to the pantry and decluttering videos! Great podcast as always 🙂

Speaking to your recipe spreadsheet….. one of my favorite cookbook(s) layouts is the Wellfed and Wellfed 2… paleo cooking style…. Colorful, interactive and options given to how it pairs with other recipes

Love my creami. It has been so much better than I expected!! Other than it is very loud haha. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for more ideas!!
I do low carb so I fit a drink I used to make many years ago into my weekly routine.
    Sugarfree sorbet (made in creami)
Mixed with zero sugar sprite. So so good!! Icy and flavorful. I just use a can of pineapple and blend on sorbet. No sweetener for me cause sprite has plenty of it😉. I know zero sugar drinks aren’t for everyone but I like 1 each week made this way. Just thought I’d share in case anyone wants a good drink and a fun way to use the creami.

I was just about to ask if you tried wonder labs valerian root for sleep, but you said not to, so I won't (LOL) … Overlap is one thing, but some channels just cut and paste recipes from other sources with no acknowledgment or anything. Sometimes when I research ideas for a starting point for a recipe, I will see half a dozen channels with the EXACT same recipe… That rubs me the wrong way… I do like you do… Always either my own original recipes or a major change from the original and still give credit. That is how it should be. . . How long could we survive? Normally, six months, easy but we are preparing to move from Florida to Arkansas so we have very little in the freezer or canned goods now but I am stocking up a bit on specialty items like lupin flour and oat fiber so I don't need to order until we get settled. All you need is a cow and a few chickens…

Is your collagen unflavored? It seems like that would be something you could keep in your coffee without causing weight gain.. I can definitely see how the HWC could do that. Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant which might be why you are sleeping better with the electrolytes..

Coffee and collagen only no fats? I'm down to mixed greens, coffee, clean water, no sodium, no pink salt, and low fat organic chicken only. I struggle with sleep as in amount, chopped up in one hour increments and night terrors/mares. Urgh.

So, Steve is the ATK of the Keto world 😃 I think! So many great topics in this session — and I think I could make it a couple of months with the "on hand" stock — except, of course, for the eggs & whipping cream! But then you put out a new 'must try' recipe… I totally had Turtle Chaffles with Caramel Sauce for dinner on Saturday!

When your ready I'd really like to know what type of electrolytes you are taking. I seen to find the ones you mix up in a drink. I never thought of drinking them before bed

For joints, I'm going to recommend Perfect Aminos. I'm not hardcore anything, partly because I'm at my goal weight, and also because I'm heading into some major surgery, so I'm cutting myself a lot of slack now. My goal is "lean gains" because I'm 60yo. But Perfect Aminos make a huge difference in my soreness after working out or after intense exertion like waterskiing. I do Doug McGuff's Body by Science workout every 7-10 days or so, and I am gaining muscle mass and strength. In theory, Perfect Aminos completely replace collagen (so the price offsets and I no longer use collagen except in recipes), they are 99% utilized if you take them on an empty stomach, and they don't break your fast because they are only 2 calories/serving. Go check them out. I am NOT in any way compensated by them for saying this. I pay full price for them, except that I buy larger amounts for the discounts. I take the tablets. Tried their old formulation of lemon lime powder and could not gag it down. Horrible. They have a new one now, and a mocha boost that is popular.

As for our pantry, I bet we could last at least a year. Seriously. It's ridiculous.

I love the recipes you come up with on your channel. All the ones I've tried have been unique and very delicious. I have a playlist of recipes I need to try. Most of them are yours.

It's a shame some of your recipes have been hijacked. Recipe copyright is something a lot of people don't understand or don't even think about. Lists of ingredients can't be copyrighted. One of the reasons, is what you mentioned. There are only so many ingredients in some recipes. What can be copyrighted are the instructions and how they are written. People are so used to trading recipes back and forth that they don't even think about recipe plagiarism. I think it's gotten even worse with the advent of the internet. I love it when a blog mentions where the inspiration for a recipe came from.

You know, some people just love drama, so to have the audacity to accuse you of plagiarism is nothing but a mean & rude person that loves drama! Block them (because they don’t change) and continue with your channel that is excellent and all your viewers know you are a man of integrity
