Thanks for this lovely recipe… I made it following your recipe just with few modifications when I was cooking (no mushrooms)… Really delicious, myself and my family we love the spicy taste 😉🌶️

I made my own sauce once, but I didn't measure….and I must have added too much soy. It was awful lol. I love this vegan recipe since I hate fish and all seafood. I have trouble getting the rice cakes. I live in PA Dutch area and it's hard to find things like this. Is there a website I can order those rice cakes from?

Tteokbokki is my favorite food in the whole world… in Long Beach where I live there is a Korean restaurant that used to make vegan tteokbokki… then they took it off the menu! They still have other amazing stuff but I have to learn to make my own 😅 This was so helpful and easy to follow. Thank you

I just made this recipe and am currently eating this, had to leave a comment because its soo good, really is the perfect blend of flavour. I had to make a few modifications because I didnt have shiitake or tomato paste but I used tomato juice and less water… basically the same thing right?! Can't wait to try this recipe with the shiitake next time!

You make each dish look so easy that I'm always tempted to try making them but usually opt for Govinda's instead! 😁You're such a good presenter that marketer's should be begging you to take their $$$ to advertise on your channel!

Beefsteak plant is how I found my perilla leaves.

To help, perilla leave are also called: perilla mint, beefsteak plant, purple perilla, Chinese basil, wild basil, blueweed, Joseph's coat, wild coleus and rattlesnake weed.

Can you put a video on vegan hot pot . I tried it at a potluck I liked it very much. So I went to Asian grocery store searched for hot pot and all the labels are in Korean. I want to make it at home. I hope you can make a video on it. Thank you 😊. I always loved your channel because sometimes it is hard to find vegan recipes . Keep posting new videos there are many fans out here for you. 🙂
