Salt doesn’t cause high blood pressure, eating gmoed foods that takes over the cell and won’t allow all those good minerals into the cells causes the pressure.
All them good minerals are good for the body.

    How are oats not kosher?
We have been doing Pesach for appx 12 years now.
But the first year after being raw vegan. It took a whole day to get over the inflammation in the body.
    Shows what sin caused!

It’s nice to have a healthy alternative but we are still commanded to eat the lamb and the bitter herbs n unleavened bread.
We try to obey as best we can.
    Thanks for this recipe!

Matzah balls are cooking. I guess I could have used my kosher for Passover matzah boards (from last year, before plant based) but didn’t think of it. Anyway, fingers crossed. I’ll post how they tasted.

A hard boil can cause vegan matzo balls to fall apart. A gentler cooking (simmer) and don't let them sit in the liquid too long. Take them out. Let them sit, then add back in and heat through right before you serve and you might be a little more successful

Kitniyot are some seeds and legumes that Ashkenazi Jews are forbidden from eating during Passover (i.e Flax, Hemp, Sesame seeds, soybeans, sunfllower seeds, buckwheat, millet, etc.), Sephardic Jews eat these as do others who have adopted the new revised rules in 2016 (some reformed and conservative Jews). Yes! Can be complicated because local, family and other traditions often impact choices that people make for the holiday. Quinoa that is kosher for Passover certified is allowed during Passover.

There are 5 grains that are not allowed: oat, barley, rye, spelt and wheat. This applies for both Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews. Matzo is made from wheat, but the reason we can still eat is because it is not in contact with water for longer than 18 minutes (the time that it takes to ferment). From time from mixing to baking it has to be less than 18 minutes. This is the time it takes to walk a Roman Mile! Shmurah matza is made and strictly observed through the whole process
