Looks so delicious, makes me wish wasn't allergic to mangos
There is a recipe I would love to have a vegan version. I don't know the name of the dish. But they are sweet purple balls. I believe they are soaked in honey. I would get them, tandoori chicken, curried potatoes and peas, and other dishes at the New Delhi restaurant. This was before I became vegan.
I still think of those potatoes and peas and the mango lassis. I never new the names of those dishes.
I have tried to make Indian dishes. But they just don't taste as authentic at home.
Which of your cookbooks have these recipes in them?
I love mango lassis. I have had one since I left Tucson. They used to serve them at the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The New Delhi in Arizona. Thanks, I'll be making one of these today.
