I love good vegetables and lentils soup is one of my favorites. I find that satiety comes from fats and proteins.

This looks delish!!The food addictions that were strong in Egypt was bread. They were known as bread eaters….they died young from cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

I ❀️ my πŸ§„ and πŸ§… but I was told that it’s not good for me because I don’t have my gallbladder. Wish I saw your channel 5 years ago, I would probably still have it. Is this true about the garlic and onion?

I need to put this on hold to finish watching later. Quick question, please: What is the difference between the different kinds of lentils? Do they have different flavors, nutritional value, texture, cooking time… or is it just the color? Maybe this is explained in the video and I will find out later…

I made this soup awaiting Hurricane Henri ( I live in Rhode Island) and made your homemade whole wheat honey bread from your "Satisfied" book and it came out amazing. My husband is falling deeper (and healthier) in love with me and our new way of living

Just to let you know… I don't know what "Bible" you are referring to, but you can't detox with cooked proteins. Jesus is shaking his head right now. Detox? Fruits, berries, and melons. And proprietary herbs.

I watched your video this morning and started cooking in the crockpot this afternoon and ate it tonight. I didn't use thyme, kale or yellow lentils. I increased the amount of garlic, onion and red lentils and used a diced red bell pepper, but I did everything else the same and it turned out great. I have plenty for the week and even froze some of it. Ty!

It’s sometimes a little easier to follow the recipe if you lay out the ingredients on a table and point to each one while you talk-over.
Then concentrate the camera on the pot while you add each ingredient while you are talking over the video.

I’d love to try this soup! My only question is: is there a replacement for the 1/2 c olive oil? I’m trying to eliminate this from my diet. Thank you. Maybe you’ll even convince me that olive oil is good to eat?
