Thanks for this video! I have the same 6 qt pot and it does take forever to vent on its own. My daughter has the 8 qt and says it's amazingly quick. I can't wait to try this! I love your cats, my Miss Gracie Girl talks to me all the time, she trills.

Too funny. I haven't ever even opened the directions. Didn't do a test, didn't know I should have. It all works. I'm the opposite….I try everything I can think of 3 times before ever resorting to the manual. I make homemade broth and add it HOT to IP, then it comes to pressure more quickly. And FYI they make an 8 quart IP if you want bigger!
