I'm so lucky my country has the best fruit! You should watch 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' – the main female character is quite problematic (and the actress is a real psycho in real life), but the drama is so, so good!!!

I agree. Our fruit in Canada is hot garbage! I do appreciate the bc cherries and okanagan blueberries that are awesome and locally grown! Fruit is very stale here ;( And cherries can get expensive very fast here like cherries

Oh my goodness! I love your channel! You make so much sense and are hilarious at the same time! I'm on the east coast (New Brunswick) and all we really have for fruit are apples and berries. And STILL they are soooo expensive!

I agree, Nektarines are sooo expensive. I bought some organic ones at a farmers market some years ago and they were 1,70€ per piece. BUT they were the most delicious nektarines I‘ve ever had in my life! The way I see it is instead of buying a cup of icecream I buy a nektarine instead, it is around the same price but you are choosing a healthier option 😊 and it is just as satisfying

Oh man, EAW!! I haven’t watched K-drama more than a decade, and I’m obsessed with the show! My flat mate recommended and I loved it cuz it has so much diversity of characters <3 can’t wait for the farther episodes!

Yes!! Fruit is so expensive! And similar to you, I noticed I was rarely eating fruit but when I did, I thought “why do I never eat fruit?!? It’s sooo good!” But I can eat a whole thing of cherries in one sitting too, so it gets expensive! And my whole life (until this year) I thought I didn’t like apples but I started trying all the different varieties and now I love them! But not the typical ones… I like honey crisp and pink lady 😋 And apples are more affordable, at least in my area. I love grapes now too. And freezing them is yummy in the summer too. Frozen banana and strawberry smoothies with dark chocolate chips on top is really good too. Maybe some almond butter too. Guess I had a lot to say about this fruit topic 🤣 The meal you made looks so good! And I like to eat my food burning hot too! 🥵

I literally just finished a batch of shakshuka yesterday! I made mine with soft tofu in the aseptic package. Mine was spicy 🔥 and so good! It's great reheated. Using local tomatoes peppers garlic and onions from the farmers market! Yours looks great too!

My grandson is an autistic genius. He goes to high school now and he is winning all kinds of academic awards. He is socially awkward as well. I will watch your recommendation just for fun. Thanks, Rose. ❤️

Never liked shakshuka/eggs in purgatory (not hell 😄) when I was omnivore. The eggs always cooked unevenly and it was just icky, raw and rubbery at the same time. It must be so much better with tofu.

Prices are going up everywhere. I happen to be in southeast Tx. The last 4 times I’ve bought blackberries, they’ve been bitter/sour. I had to mix them with watermelon, other berries, or those mandarin slices that come in the little cups. I just didn’t want to waste them. Can’t find the cotton candy grapes anymore, they must be out of season now.

Babe now is the time to buy some ontario peaches or nectarines…i dont even buy those fruits usually but i go crazy for ontario ones they are amazing, fresh and local… its worth a try. Maybe you dont eat much fruit bc you prefer savory breakfast. Me everyday i eat fruit (today was 3 peaches) (i also ate 2 bananas and a spot of tea a little later) for breakfast, oatmeal sometimes in wintertime but it almost always includes fruit you see.
Peaches are also great for the bones, my mother has osteoporosis so i try to take care of my bones.

    Sincerely,
    A fruit freak
