    I'm vegan but I never put up a fit when I eat at someone's house, I'll eat what they cook and enjoy it meat or not. And don't tell me that I'm not a goddamn vegan, you don't get to make the rules and gatekeepe veganism, someone always gives me grief about it.

    Just a heads up, elephant garlic is a different botanical species then normal garlic. It’s actually the bulb of a leek (Allium ampeloprasum) while normal garlic is Allium sativum. All this to simply point out that it’s generally quite a bit more mild than regular garlic, and thus the equivalent amount of garlic might be quite a bit more “spicy”, in the garlic sense of the word.

    We make chicken and dumplings. Very similar, except use some pulled bits of accidentally vegan biscuits in the sauce. Also, that puff pastry makes excellent pocket sandwiches. Ham and cheese, chocolate croissant, tofu scramble and potatoes. Cut the pastry into sixths to form the tops and bottoms and crimp together with a fork. Little greasy, but lotta yummy.
