For me just the combination of lentils, cumin and mushrooms make up vegetarian minced meat. All the other added stuff I think is not going to be tasted in the melting pot of flavours once done – the beauty of mexican food that they love their spices. Still cool idea, definately going to give it a try.

Ok so one of the things I LOVED about this video is your transparency and mistakes!! Please don't stop sharing them! Sometimes when I've tried a recipe with the listed measurements I've needed to add water or other things and I leave thinking, "there is no way they used these measurements". SO I LOVED seeing you add in extra stuff as needed and even say, "yea no this is bad". Again you're just soo awesome! I think I'll be trying this on Tuesaday!

Ok, so I have a walnut allergy and I see walnuts used a tone in vegan meat. Can I sub them out with another nut and get the same texture for the meat? I LOVE food and I am going back to a vegan lifestyle because it honestly just works better for my tummy (GI issues) but this time I want it to be flavorful and fun (which is why you channel helps me) I've bought meet before but I want to try this meat option I just need to leave off the walnuts if possible

just made this and I sliced off a little tip of my thumb cutting the iceberg lettuce and had to take like a 2 hour interlude right before assembling to stop the bleeding, but let me tell you, sitting here with a full belly and a little bit less of a thumb, the final result was absolutely fucking worth it.
