I couldn't find the Annie's brand of Worcestershire sauce, but I did find The Wizard's brand of vegan Worcestershire. I have only used The Wizard's once (so far) but thought it was tasty; I'm not disappointed.

There's no expiration date on the bottle (that I see) so not sure how long to keep it in the fridge; a year or two perhaps? IDK

I commented a year ago after making this recipe (with great success), but went back in my history to find it again today because I want to make it again and have not found ANY other recipe that is authentic like yours is! I am a HUGE Paul Prud'homme fan, so Cajun food has to mimic his in order to be really good. Kudos, darlin'! You nailed it. I will save this recipe forever!

Onion don't bother me but I have heard if you run the onion under cold water after it's peeled it takes the sulfur away that makes people cry. Worth a try 🤷‍♀️
