If you're still looking for a more eco friendly way to do this I'd highly suggest purchasing reusable silicone bags in a small but not too small size. It's a bit of a cost upfront but will save you money in the long run. The ones that lock tight on their own and don't require a plastic bar to close them are my favourite because they're the most versatile. (I currently use Stasher brand ones because of their durability but they are expensive and with some research you can find more affordable ones online.)

Silicone ziplock bags offer better protection from freezer burn than foil. Unlike the foil, many brands of silicone bags can go right from freezer to microwave to boiling pot of water to oven to dishwasher, so your husband can heat them up in the bag if he doesn't want to use/wash/throw away a plate at work he can just eat it right out of the wrapper. They're better than plastic Tupperware, disposable plastic baggies, or foil as well because good brands don't leak even when turned on the side or upside down, and if something goes bad in them by accident it doesn't seem into the plastic and it can be left open and boiled or put through the dishwasher on high to sterilize. (You could even put it through a dry autoclave is you wanted but that's just overkill.)

Those sound great! My channel was stolen by scammers/hackers back in July, then they started uploading videos of ‘The View’ then YT terminated the channel. Just got it back yesterday. I’ll have to catch up on your videos Jordan.

I did make a new channel ‘Joe’s Firewood Videos II’ the day this channel was terminated and it’s been a huge success

I also made the egg ones…really good. I found when I ate them during the first week after freezing, they came out at bit wet…but the last one I had today had been frozen for a few weeks and the consistency was much better…for what that is worth. thanks again for the recipes

Thinking outside the box, for freezer and fridge storage, I use those 6 quart plastic boxes from Walmart. They isolate any potential messes and reduce the hunting episodes for those illusive tarter sauce, dips bowl, mushrooms jar etc. and they are stackable with lids. Fridge cleaning time is minimal now.
