Thank you so much for sharing your dinner. I now cook for a picky boyfriend who likes the meat but not the veggies. I'm not use to cooking for picky people! I raised 3 boys who ate what I cooked and loved most everything. I really appreciate the idea because I've been craving stew! Have a wonderful Palm Sunday tomorrow. Love, your friend in Virginia, Monica

You are an inspiration for getting more organized and prepared. TY. I started watching not long ago, partly because I feel like I know you. No, this is not me being some weirdo. The flyers yesterday made me wonder even more. If Calvary or Shwa is familiar then it's possible. Though I could be completely wrong. Sher is short for Sheri but Finds is not the last name.

My husband loves butter tarts too ( Andrew has good taste …..they are so yummy 😉 ) I only make them for Christmas and I cheat and buy the pre made tart shells 😂. We tried onion rings in the air fryer recently and they were so good 😋. The puzzle is so pretty 🌻

Happy weekend! Your stew looked delicious. Good meal idea on a rainy day. Great grocery haul and organization. I keep searching for the everything hummus and can’t seem find it. I’m sure it will turn up sometime when I go to Food Basics. Take Care.🌼😊🌼

I loved that you opened with little Linus. Thanks for the Strawberry Pie recipe. I am happy to see you are enjoying your Cardinal mug. I am glad Hunter found such a great family. I was happy to hear that your mom is doing so well in assisted living. Having people to socialize with is a very good thing. I love VEDA. Sorry, I haven't been commenting but I have been a little under the weather. Nothing serious. I continue to keep you and your family in my daily prayers. God bless you and yours. Carrots to the furbabies.

That stew looked amazing. I've always had my potatoes cooked in the stew. I'm going to try mashed potatoes on the side next time I make it.
To make the cinnamon rollls a little different cook them in a waffle iron it makes really good cinnamon waffles.
    Have a great weekend.

Oh my goodness…the stew looked absolutely divine! Just the thing for a rainy day. I'll bet Steve was happy with it! The bird puzzle looked like quite a challenge, but came out so lovely. You'll love keeping your celery wrapped in foil! I've done it for years, and it really DOES extend its life! Can't wait to see what dessert you come up with using your strawberries and cream cheese. Here's one of my all time favorites, and it's no-bake, too!:

    STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE

    1 small pkg strawberry jello

    6 oz cream cheese; softened
sweetener of choice [confectioners sugar, sugar free sweeteners, etc]
    1 tsp vanilla

    2 c fresh sliced strawberries

    premade graham cracker crust

Whisk cream cheese, sweetener and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add a bit of cream to thin, if necessary.
    Prepare jello according to package.
Spread cream cheese in bottom of crust.
    Top with strawberries.
Last, pour jello over berries, just to cover. Reserve remainder for another use.
    Chill before cutting.

I’m really enjoying VEDA! Thanks for sharing! And I completely agree, when I’m focused the entire house just runs better, I have 5 rescue cats, each with their own “ issues “ I work hard to make sure they’re well. Sometimes it’s a challenge, we have 2 seniors which take a lot of meds, have mobility issues. So I’ve got to be on my toes! Lol! I’m also amazed at how inexpensive groceries are compared to mine. I live in Key West Florida, it’s an island 158 miles west off the peninsula of florida. It takes 3.5 hours to get to Miami, who’s is northwest of us.
