This rice dish is most definitely not Uzbek plov. Please do not embarrass uzbek cuisine. This is unauthentic, Russian-wanna-be-plov rice kasha
Thank you so much for the recipe! I am making it as we speak. I have a question: what is the purpose of the whole onion? I don't see you using it in the recipe after you take it out of the pot, and you don't put it on the plate.
