I caught up on your videos the other day. I remember seeing you make a chicken stock in your crockpot. Some how over the weekend I got the stomach bug. About my whole school has it. Last night I decided to try making my veggie stock in the crockpot as well. I put my veggie bag in the freezer added water and a few other seasoning and a big spoon full of chicken powder. I probably should have measured how much water I put in the pot. When I finally make my chicken and noodle soup I’ll make sure I measure out the powder to make it taste like chicken.

I cooked the veggie in the crockpot a good 12 hrs. I just finally pulled out the veggies as so I can strain out the small pieces.

When I make my soup this afternoon I’ll be starting a new bag of veggies.

We have been putting our frig freezer items in baskets that have airflow. There are two on the top shelf and two on the bottom. The bottom two are veggie and fruits. The top left basket is opened processed food. The top right is broths and things needing used up. The other freezer has baskets too. This has saved a lot of frustration for us and less food waste.
