Do you eat all of the egg pudding by yourself in one sitting? Also how many eggs do you eat in one day? Is it possible to eat too many eggs in one day?

I have been WANTING a way to cook my egg custard so much quicker than the oven. I am SO glad I found this video. I made some today but put my own spin to it. Used half 2% milk and half water. Added my homemade vanilla, a touch of salt and a tiny bit of organic raw sugar just to make it not bland. Even bought 2 shallow cheap no stick "cake" pans at walmart so I could do it in my 12" pan. It took 5min 30 seconds. OMG I was so thrilled, I turned around and made a 2nd batch with the 2nd pan I bought at walmart. I ate one this afternoon and shared with my dogs and "house rooster". EVERYONE loves it except my husband, he is not a custard fan at all. 2nd batch is for tomorrow for breakfast. SO thankful for seeing this video !!!!

Hi Bella I saw my first video with you about 4 days ago and I decided to go ahead and do the carnivore diet I've been on an extreme low carb keto diet for quite some time so I think the transition has gone pretty well I don't know if it'll be a problem or if it is a problem yet since I'm just starting the pure carnivore but I had my gallbladder taken out quite a few years ago probably 6/8 years ago am I going to experience any problems and if I am what are they and what should I do about them also I think you are awesome and very beautiful I think you made the right choice to carnivore from vegan stay safe and healthy hopefully you'll get back to me thank you

Just tried this with 4 eggs and an equal amount of liquid. The liquid I used is half water and half heavy cream. Used low pressure for 10 minutes with an immediate manual release. It wasn't done! The center was still liquid. In fact, it looked like only about half of it was cooked. So now I put it back in the instant pot for 3 more minutes and plan to do a slow release for maybe 5 minutes. Hopefully, it will be done, but not over-done! Ugh!

Update: It was done. Perhaps just a tad overdone. Didn't have the silky texture like yours did. Tasted pretty good, though!

You don't season your eggs? Also, why the unsalted butter? Don't you eat salt? I always salt and pepper eggs, and I only buy salted butter. I have an instant pot, so I may try this, but will definitely add salt to the eggs.

SBG – have you dabbled in ghee and clarified butter? I recently bought a tub of Indian ghee when the Costco I stopped at didn’t have unsalted Kerrygold – shocking, I know – and I thought ghee would agree with me just as well. And… I LOVE IT. Eating it with a spoon, frying my steaks in it… it’s just *chefs kiss.*. I would love to see you do a taste test or exploratory video on ghee!!

For any carnivores reading, if you could only have one electric appliance as your whole kitchen, which would you chose: an instant pot or a big air fryer like the ninja foodi grill? The instant pot making egg pudding possible puts it at a serious advantage… I was leaning towards the air fryer before.

Skip the toxic waste aluminum foil and just use a plate. People spend all kinds of money on aluminum free deodorant and antiperspirant because it absorbed through skin and causes Alzheimer's, ADD, early onset dementia, MS, behavior issues, low IQ,… So why would you voluntarily choose to eat it? The WHO warns against aluminum foil in contact with food.

Hi! How much water was used to steam in the bottom of the IP? Silly question, I'm sorry! I have an 8qt pot and I know the 6qt pot uses a different amount. I'm guessing 1 and a quarter cup since that's what is used in the manual for the water test. If you don't know maybe one of your peeps can help me out? I'm still fairly new to the IP game 🙂
