"All the people that voted for Brandon are eating mashed potatoes"! 😂😂😂. Also I agree w everything you said, cranberry jelly is disgusting, mac n cheese is NOT a Thanksgiving dish and sweet potato casserole w pecans is awesome (if you don't put too much sugar). I can't wait til Wed to start cooking/baking!

To be fair, a couple of other states chose dressing, but called it "stuffing". For me cornbread dressing is the main side dish for Turkey day! I think some of these "polls" are not completely representative for most people!

We love mashed potatoes and red chile for Thanksgiving side.
If not red chile then green.
And yes, theres a difference between New Mexican food and Mexican food.
If your fancy you might even have tamales for a side at Thanksgiving!

I've lived most of my 56 years in Missouri, and in that time I have naver been to or heard of any one having had sharcootery (mis spelling on purpose) for Thanksgiving dinner. Must have just polled folks in KC, ST Louis, and Jefferson city. I just last year heard of charcuterie, and what was. Sure don't do that in sw Missouri. Maybe in Joplin they're getting a little strange.

I’m from Oklahoma and Baked Potato has never been a thanksgiving side dish. They take too dang long to make. And who is going to make enough baked potatoes for 40-50 people!?
