I feel I make the bomb seafood gumbo, and was hip to the shrimp shell game trick, got to do it. But for the first five minutes of vid thought you were overdoing things. At 12 min mark, was like MAN, I just got to see what this extra effort taste like!

Itβs just gumbo isnβt actually gumbo unless itβs made with original ingredients from New Orleans. Thatβs why you may get a lil bit of heat ( itβs soup). Looks very good! Coming from a Creole

You know you can Bake the flour in a cookie sheet until it get to that peanut/ chocolate color for the roux. I do both

Nice. A few different ingredients from my seafood gumbo but the main steps are all the same. As always, I learned something. Your seafood stock looked delicious. There are certainly some additions I may try with mine. I have 3 ways I would level up that seafood stock. 1st, I usually put oysters in my gumbo. I add the liquor that the oysters are packed in to my seafood stock. 2nd, I add some clam juice. You can get bottles of it at the store here. Third, I go to my Filipino Grocer and get some Bagoong Alamang. It is a filipino shrimp paste made with tiny shrimp. Add 2 teaspoons of that to your stock and smell the flavour go over the top. Delicious. Thanks for making my mouth water at 2 am AB.

Iβve been using your old gumbo recipe from your other video for awhile now. Itβs always a hit at family functions, pot gets taken home empty every single time.
Ppl saying this isnβt gumbo must be thinking of one type of gumbo maybe where they are from. So many types of gumbo from different regions. Lol.
