    I feel I make the bomb seafood gumbo, and was hip to the shrimp shell game trick, got to do it. But for the first five minutes of vid thought you were overdoing things. At 12 min mark, was like MAN, I just got to see what this extra effort taste like!

    Mad respect! Thank you for your channel. There are many different ways people cook gumbo. I bet this tastes awesome! It’s just gumbo isn’t actually gumbo unless it’s made with original ingredients from New Orleans. That’s why you may get a lil bit of heat ( it’s soup). Looks very good! Coming from a Creole

    Nice. A few different ingredients from my seafood gumbo but the main steps are all the same. As always, I learned something. Your seafood stock looked delicious. There are certainly some additions I may try with mine. I have 3 ways I would level up that seafood stock. 1st, I usually put oysters in my gumbo. I add the liquor that the oysters are packed in to my seafood stock. 2nd, I add some clam juice. You can get bottles of it at the store here. Third, I go to my Filipino Grocer and get some Bagoong Alamang. It is a filipino shrimp paste made with tiny shrimp. Add 2 teaspoons of that to your stock and smell the flavour go over the top. Delicious. Thanks for making my mouth water at 2 am AB.

    AB, now that's real down-home gumbo cooking, this from a New Orleans native, the only difference we don't have time to make a pretty presentation, the line be too long for a presentation. πŸ‘πŸΎ
