We went out in out TT last weekend and a guy across from us was selling sweet corn on the cob for 40 cents an ear. We bought 6, tried it Friday night and man it was good. I bought another dozen and my wife is prepping and freezing it. I love farmers markets and roadside markets. No overhead to pay.

When you're picking the strawberries I thought wow strawberry scones are coming. Strawberry pancakes. Oh I know you've got some leftover for strawberry scones to surprise us next time right? Please don't tell me "fagit about it".

We've got a choke cherry tree and a crab apple tree in our yard. Nicole makes apple butter and choke cherry jam each year. Its such a treat to have either one on some of her toasted homemade bread in the dead of winter here in Montana. In fact, for breakfast, along with eggs, we had the jam on toasted homemade bread. Safe journeys and … Carey On!

Even her Majesty had a little grass snack…not sure when you were there but I was also in Pennsylvania for a week for huge medieval reenactment called Pennsic. Love that part of the US and gorgeous drive for sure. Thanks for sharing your cooking adventures! Carey on…
