Before you put in on the bun, get a cast iron skillet (with a little oil) hot to the point where it just starts to smoke. Then put the pulled pork on it for a bit. The goal is to add a bit of char to the tips on the pork strands.

Thanks for the idea got a big chunk of it in my fridge right now and was looking for something to do with it I think I’m gonna add some fresh chopped onion in the mix
