THANK YOU for such a great video! I spent a solid half hour trying to find a nice instruction video for making turkey stock – people were either not using the carcass, skipping steps, rambling for hourssss about useless stuff etc…. Your video is PERFECT!! Every bit of info you shared is relevant and helpful, thank you so much! I loved the step by step updates describing the fat and why you were doing what you were doing. I'm going to make my broth tonight and now have a whole bunch of recipe ideas based from your comments. Mmmm dumplings 😊 I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!!

Hey, thanks, Jan! Nice to meet you! I subscribed, and am going to follow you on all your pages, like Facebook, etc. I didn’t catch the last one you mentioned though. I was wondering how long to boil turkey drumstick bones🍖 in water to make turkey broth. I want to use it to make noodles, and even some minute rice in. I think I may have had it on for nearly an hour, but I was not paying attention, and not sure, but at least a half hour. I had a large soup pot, and filled it up, and had the stove on medium heat. I check on it a couple of times, and it got to boiling pretty good!! It ended up the broth got a little bit lower in the pan after awhile! So, I turned it off then, but let it stay on the burner. Maybe that will help you to gues how long I had it on for. I am going to taste it, and see, of course, if that is it! I really hope so! Also, you mentioned making turkey and dumplings🥟 ! I just love chicken and dumplings 🥟! Well, mostly the dumplings the best! I would like to see how you make those! Also, I love, actually am addicted to Hormel meals, chicken and dumplings! The dumplings, and the gravy in them are soooooo yummy! Any ideas on how they make it?

The thick jelly like substance at the bottom of the roasting pan at the end of the roasting, can that be salvaged and used in someway to make broth or stock?

I roasted three drumsticks, covered, and if the coagulated stuff is beneficial, why not.

Hi Jan , I noticed you did not add a couple carrots or onion or celery to the pot. I was wondering why? Does is not really matter? Or do much for the flavor ?
