For more fun in this vein, I'd like to recommend checking out "Recreating the internet's worst recipes" on the "Jolly" channel, run by two young lads names Josh and Ollie (hence "Jolly). They're really funny and wholesome. I watch their videos all the time. They also run The Korean Englishman channel.

This video had me laughing my head off! I remember seeing gelatin molds with vegetables and meat in them when I was a child, but luckily never had to eat one. A friend said her Mom knew a lady that brought a gelatin veal loaf to every potluck event she attended and it was just gross. It crossed my mind that maybe I should make ALL of these recipes for the next time my Girls Night Out group come over! haha But, then I thought better, because I have several indoor cats AND the smell of fish makes me want to spew. haha

ya dont need a fancy "yolker", you can literally just use the egg shell after breaking it in half to separate the two by treating them like little bowls, the yolk will seperate naturally from the whites as the whites are more dense.

Americans, probably 85%, use a version of Garum a lot. Worstershire Sauce is made with anchovies, Asian cooking has fish sauce from various countries. Garam factories were along the Mediterranean coast & had to be quite a way from living areas per Max Miller of Tasting History, who made some, taking 3 months… Thanks for mentioning him.

I am not a fan of gelatin since I do not relish the thought of eating animal bones (and no, I am not a vegetarian), but I can see how some aspics could be tasty if you can get over the animal bone thing. Like orange gelatin with orange slices in it or lime with lime slices or grape with grapes. That kind of thing.
He should have hit up Max to ask to send some garum. Max must have some bottles ageing somewhere, didn't he make a 2nd batch which was suppose to be traditionally made? I'd like to try and make a proper batch one day, they should do a study on it as it's probably really good for you, no virus would want to stick around that stuff.
Most of the Be Amazed YouTube channel viewers want to see a series of this please.
