Maybe this is personal for you but just curious…do you and your sisters barter for milk, eggs and meat for each other or do you pay each other? How many sisters are there? Do you have any brothers?

I appreciate all the hard work you do to share all these inspiring meals and housework. I enjoy seeing the fraction of a second of your family. It makes it feel like more of a realistic day in the life of a homemaker while still being somewhat private. This is meant as a positive comment from a mom of many to another 🙂

You can do the Heat Transfer Method. Add the hot lye mixture to the oils (no need to melt the butter and oils) blend to trace, add scent and pour into molds. As a professional soapmaker I have been doing this for yrars.

In my part of Australia we don't get snow in Winter and we do get days where I can use the clothes line. I have a very large covered veranda that goes all around our home so we use clothes horses in winter. There is nothing nicer than the smell of fresh laundry that has been dried on the clothesline. I draw the line at socks and underwear – as a family of 5 I gave up hanging those out. They are the only thing that goes in my dryer. 😂
Thanks for showing the sourdough skillet that looked delicious and a nice change for a shepards pie topping over mashed potato. Yummy – They did a good job draining the dam/pond and I agree having a water source close to where children will be makes me nervous too. To be able to experience farm life is such a privilege and I too was blessed to have that a part of my childhood. It is great for children to understand the process of how to grow and harvest food etc to sustain themselves but also to know food does not just come from a supermarket. 💕🐨💕

I still have to try the sourdough in my bread machine. Always so much to look forward to; watching your channel. What a beautiful river for the kids to swim. Really great it is close by.

Laura, so cool normally dilute lye in filtered water, before adding to any oils. Think I tried diluting it into something else before but saw in your video that you dilute it in coconut milk can only guess, that will help make it creamier?

Such a fun video. A great way to spend the day with your babies. I can't believe you already got the pond filled in. Your property is so nice. I can see a beautiful home in that clearing. Ty.

I cannot wait until you build your beautiful farmhouse …what a wonderful piece of land and to have a river to swim in that close is terrific. Nothing better than country farm living 🥰
