Cj I have a question about my Foodi xl grill. I have the grates, flat top and crisper basket in it and it's hard to close the top with crisper in. Does the griddle need to be there for the crisper basket?

Abaolutely beautiful! Just what I need is another Ninja product. Ha ha but now i want the grill too. I was hoping I could get that out of my Smart Lid. We have been eating tritip since the 80s in California. Glad to be able to fund the cut in other states too.

I finally broke my Foodi XL Grill and Griddle in, I have cooked using the grill plate, the griddle plate and the air fryer basket. I made a brunch spread using the air fryer and griddle to make pancakes, sausage, eggs (griddle) and hash browns (air fryer), it was amazing. I also used the grill plate to grill a fish filet for my dad, he was actually impressed with the results. Today, I used the griddle plate to make caramelized onions and mushrooms, which I flavored with McCormick BBQ Brown Sugar Bourbon mix. Then I griddled some burgers, setting aside the mushrooms and onions, and then topping the burgers with them once they were cooked and then topping that with slices of provolone cheese. Then I used the air fryer to heat up some Checkers Famous Fries. Holy shit, they were perfect. Like legit, the burgers were moist, flavorful and delicious with the mushrooms, onions, and cheese. The fries were crispy and not burnt. Everything thus far has just come out perfect. I couldn't be happier, can't wait to continue using this thing on the regular. This also looks incredible, would've let it rest a bit longer but even so, my mouth was watering when I heard that sizzle. It's obvious there is tons of things you can make with this sucker. Can't wait to experiment further.
