I'm sure you don't need that much water. Loved the video anyway.
Since this was your first try, using the instant pot, would you say your pudding is under cooked? It looks quite undercooked. Have you tried it since? Also, when you switched from stream, to manual setting, you kept the large amount of water. Do you feel you should have released, and removed some water, after the first steam?

Great teamwork. What is golden syrup (or USA equivalent)? Sort of looked like maple syrup or golden corn syrup. Looks delicious. I will try making once I convert the measurements and determine a golden syrup equivalent. Love the animal sound effects.
I suppose this can be done with honey in place of golden syrup. I know it is a cooking video, however I find it refreshingly entertaining at the same time. I loved the "ball of stuff' and the operation of the "instapot". I would say Instantpot has too many consonants, not too many syllables ๐

I was so excited to see this new post on treacle sponge, I was a bit ridiculous really! Tim, I really enjoyed you sharing your recipie and walking us through the steps. Cooking and baking is by feel and intuition, I find anyway, you are absolutely right. And by the way, you totally rock that hair! Just love it!!

Looks delicious. But I'm confused. I thought "treacle" is what we in the states call "molasses? I love golden syrup but it's sooo expensive here in the USA
